Is it possible to find a work-life balance when you’re a perfectionist?
After all, perfectionism is often seen as a hindrance to work-life balance. Defined in dictionaries as a trait that causes people to be “not satisfied with anything less than perfect”, it is often associated with burnout.
In the latest episode of the podcast A Fine Balance, I explore insights from podcast interviews where perfectionism (or the lack of it) has come up.

I share the key lessons I’ve learned along the way, including:
⭐️ 3 essential work-life balance take-aways from people who resist perfectionism
⭐️ Practical strategies for perfectionists to strike a healthier balance
⭐️ Real-life examples of how perfectionism can both hinder and enhance work-life harmony
There is often shame attached to admitting you’re a perfectionist, so it’s not surprising perhaps, that I haven’t interviewed many people who identify in such a way on the podcast.
